Stem cells are differentiated and severely damaged or pathologically found in our bodies, but they are also used to create healthy and functional cells instead of cells that can not be naturally regenerated. The only difference is the process of transplanting an organ instead of a cell. Hematopoietic stem cells (blood system) are the most common type of stem cells in the bone marrow, which are the precursors of all blood cells.
